Ashley Schmidt

Ashley Schmidt joined Pittman & Brooks as a Staff Accountant in August 2024. Originally from Eugene, Oregon, Ashley spent several years in Denver, Colorado, before recently returning to her home state with her husband in the summer of 2024. She holds a BS in Finance from Penn State University and has worked in the banking and finance industry since 2016. Prior to joining P&B, Ashley served as a Financial Advisor in Denver, managing investment portfolios, retirement plans, and 401(k) accounts for both individual and business clients. She also holds Series 7, 66, and 63 FINRA licenses, along with her Life and Health Insurance license.

At work, Ashley loves learning and continually growing in her role, as evidenced by her pursuit of a CPA license at Pittman & Brooks and the financial licenses she earned beforehand. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, knitting, and hiking. She’s also passionate about houseplants—at one point, she had nearly 100 plants in her collection.

The culture and the organization are what drew me in to P&B. The entire team is truly wonderful, with everyone showing genuine care for each other and our clients. It is refreshing to deliver top-notch service while maintaining the personal feel of a small firm, especially after coming from large brokerage firms.
