Shelby Brooks

Shelby Brooks has been a Staff Accountant at Pittman & Brooks since 2019, bringing her passion for accounting and a deep connection to the firm. A Portland native, Shelby earned her degree in Accounting with a minor in French from Oregon State University. Pittman & Brooks is truly in her blood—founded by her parents before she was born, Shelby has been a part of the firm since childhood. She even celebrated her first birthday in the P&B conference room and attended the now-closed Darling Deductions daycare that was once attached to the office. Continuing her parents’ legacy and making a difference for clients is what drives her.

Outside of work, Shelby has been horseback riding since 2008 and recently retired her horse, Stella, from English-style riding competitions. In her free time, she enjoys country line dancing, crafting, and spending time with her family and horse in Central Oregon.
