Katie Buchanan

Katie, a Bay Area native, joined Pittman & Brooks in June 2022 as a Project Database Manager. After graduating cum laude with a degree in Business/Marketing and a focus in Psychology from the University of Portland, she spent her early career at a tech start-up. At P&B, Katie oversees our project management system and manages the firm’s workload from both a procedural and technological perspective. She is passionate about solving problems with data and finding innovative solutions. Katie thrives on questions like, “Is there a better/different way to do this?” and, along with her trusty Excel spreadsheets, is always eager to brainstorm new ideas.

Katie moved to Oregon for college and decided to make it her home after graduation, along with her fiancé, Matt, their cat Rosie, and their chi-weenie mix Poppy.  Outside of work, she can be found doing yoga, hiking, or reading whatever book she can get her hands on at the moment.
